AGENSYS NAMES DR. MARTHA VINCENT VICE PRESIDENT, CLINICAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
SANTA MONICA, Calif., July 15, 2004 - Agensys, Inc. announced today the appointment of Martha Vincent, Ph.D., F.A.C.C.P. as Vice President, Clinical Research and Development. Dr. Vincent brings extensive expertise in clinical, regulatory and medical affairs to Agensys, a biotech company developing cancer antibody therapies.
Dr. Vincent is joining Agensys from Amgen where she served in different clinical and medical affairs positions during her 17 year tenure, including Vice President, Clinical Research, Vice President, Clinical Development, and most recently as Vice President, Medical Affairs. Prior to joining Amgen in 1987, Dr. Vincent served as an Associate Director of Cardiovascular Clinical Research at Schering Plough.
Dr. Vincent will lead the clinical development of Agensys' antibody products based on its portfolio of proprietary targets.
